I really enjoyed your podcast! It went by too fast again! I liked the Bad Religion song- I hadn't listened to their stuff before. There is a needlepoint shop in my area that looks like it might carry the crewel supplies that you are looking for. It's website is www.needlepoint.com

Hope that helps!

I really like your podcast (still have to listen to Episode 3). I'm like you in that I do lots of different crafts. I started with cross stitch (and Teresa Wentzler, who I've met a couple of times and is the sweetest lady), then moved on to knitting, spinning, and weaving. Now I'm trying to juggle them all!

If you haven't checked out Heaven and Earth Designs, go visit their stuff. They do very nice computer generated charts for a lot of different artists (but mostly fantasy type).

And try europeanxs.com for more French and European designs!

Hi Julie, I don't know if it was just my experience, but I only got 13 minutes of episode three. It ended very abruptly, so I'm assuming there is more. :) I'm subscribed to the podcast via iTunes.

Loved the thirteen minutes I heard, by the way!

Very enjoyable podcast

My ears really perked up when you mentioned an episode on make stitchmarkers - hopefully you meant those irresistable and expensive wire and stone/glass beads

I do enjoy hearing about all the other crafts that you are involved in and will have episodes on. Not sure about the rubber stamping but i'm sure i will survive

I see episode three is ready but for some reason not on my ipod - will definitely find out why

Thank-you

Irie

Hi Julie! You inspired me to pull out my cross-stitch and do some work on it for the first time in a year and a half. Great episode, keep it up!

I had a Theresa Wentzler UFO for several years. Okay, it took me five years to finish it. (I think... who keeps track?) It was the English cottage sampler and involved not only all the mixed-color threads but also LOTS of beads and a fine-count linen (neither of which I'd never used before). I finally finished it in 1999 and, let me tell you, it's gorgeous! I take it out of its protective covering (aka a ziplock baggie) and look at it and wonder how the h**l I did it. And, if I win the lottery, I may be able to have it framed suitably. (Fingers crossed, but no ticket bought, so it's probably not gonna happen this week!)

Thanks for another enjoyable episode!

i love your podcast! I especially love that you played Bad Religion!

I have a cross stitch design that I promised to do for my fiance, and I think this just might inspire me to pick it back up again. It's a design that he had when he was younger, but it was lost in a house fire a few years ago. It's not exactly a design that I like, but maybe when I'm done I could try out some of the long dog designs. They are beautiful!

Just found your show, sounding good! I like to hear about cross stitching as I dont know that many stitchers in "real life." I have mostly done Teresa Wentzler projects and my largest WIP is Fortunate Traveler.

Cheers!
