Where to Buy Japanese Craft Books:
- B&M shops like Mitsuwa sometimes have bookshops. (My "local" Mitsuwa in Arlington Heights does!) Crafting Japanese has a nice list of B&M shops here.
- Amazon Japan -- Look toward the top of the page and click where it says "In English". How easy is that? I've bought from them and had great service.

I really enjoyed this subject. I had a vague idea about Japanese craft books but I had no idea how to go about looking for them.

Twice now I've come back to something you have casted on. The first one was the Crewel work. I listened and thought, nah I don't like Crewel work..didn't like some of the pics I saw...but then weeks later thought...hmmmm....I could use those patterns for something....and now the Japanese patterns. I'm so glad that we can come back to the notes you have posted! Thanks!! Keep up the good work...(Oh and my sis lives in Algonquin, not too far for you! They use to live in Schaumburg and are now moving closer so that they can be closer to their work..which unfortunatley has moved downtown Chicago!)
